Model Home Furnishings closed

Model Home Furnishings closed its doors last month for good after 13 years in their location on South Grand Avenue.

Dave Whitehead, manager of the Lewiston store, said it wasn't really an economic decision, but that they just outgrew their Pullman site. Though they considered other spaces available in Moscow and Pullman, he said they ultimately decided it made more sense to consolidate their business in the Lewiston store, which opened in 2013.
