The Pi Beta Phi sorority at Washington State University lost university recognition last week through June 2014 according to Dean of Students Melynda Huskey. "The sorority was found responsible for hazing and underage drinking through a university conduct board process," Huskey said. ... A plan by the U.S. Forest Service to relocate the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest offices away from Grangeville and Orofino will hurt those communities, Idaho and Clearwater county officials say. The Forest Service announced last week that moving the supervisor's office to Kamiah will save $2 million a year.
