Streit Hall is a residence hall located at Flag Lane and Colorado Street. The hall is part of a complex that includes Perham Hall, another dormitory, and the Resident Life and Housing Services building.

"The incident is under investigation," Hansen said, adding that he couldn't provide additional details.

"There are still several questions to be answered," he said. "We want to learn more about his (Mallory's) movements before the fall."

Hansen asked that anyone who had contact with Mallory that night and early morning to contact Nathan Hahn with WSU Police at (509) 335-8548.
