Lorna (Doone) Bromley, 60, of Moscow
In loving memory of our mother and friend Lorna (Doone) Bromley.
Lorna Lou Vincent was born to Edward and Frances Vincent, in Tacoma, Wash., on March 4, 1951. Lorna moved on to a better place Nov. 19, 2011. A place free of torment, free of pain. She went on to be reunited with her parents to ready a place for the rest of us.
She is survived by her seven children, many of whom favor different parts of her. Those children are Shawn Bromley (San Pedro, Calif.), Jon Hermey (Portland, Tenn.), Virginia King (Moscow, Idaho), Joseph Bromley (Longview, Wash.), Frank Bromley (Colfax, Wash.), Grace Bockmier (Moscow, Idaho) and Andrea Slagter (Elk River, Idaho). She had 11 grandchildren whom she loved tremendously.
She also had her dog Angel that carried her through the last few years of her life that she called her child.
Lorna also had a host of friends and loved ones, from Ocean Shores, Wash., all the way to Moscow. She was known and loved by many.
She had a magnetic personality, confidence and strength.
She loved to write and to learn. She loved to socialize and tell stories. She loved the ocean and was longing to return there upon her recovery.
She was not the conventional type by any means, she lived her life outside the box, a wild child from the beginning. She lived a full and exciting life in her short 60 years. It is far from over though, she will continue to live on in our hearts and minds. Lorna Lou, you will be missed.
A celebration of her life and Potluck will be 1 p.m. today, Nov. 22, 2011, at: The Eagles Lodge in Moscow, 123 N Main St. Moscow Idaho 83843, (208) 882-6763.
If anyone is interested in donating to a foundation in Lorna's name, the family would like for you to donate to the American Liver foundation
