The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality is seeking public comment about the cleanup of contaminated land on the 200 block of West Sixth Street.
Members of the Moscow Urban Renewal Agency board heard briefly Wednesday morning about what will be required to make the nearly 0.85 acre site clean enough for construction there. MURA owns the land at the southwest corner of Sixth and Jackson streets and it has an agreement with Sangria Downtown LLC for the developer to construct a two-story, 19,000-square-foot mixed-use building there with a bar, restaurant and small apartments.
Construction can’t begin until the remediation project is complete.
More details will be available Thursday online at dnews.com and in the Moscow-Pullman Daily News.
