Thursday's loss to Arizona State may have put a serious damper on Washington State's NCAA tournament hopes, but if there was ever a win that could salvage its season, this would be it. When the Cougars face off against the University of Arizona at 7 p.m. tonight at Beasley Coliseum, they will have a chance to knock off the No. 8 team in the country.
Pulling off the upset, however, will be no easy task. The Wildcats won their first 14 games of the season and bring an 18-2 record into the Palouse. What makes Arizona so hard to beat is they are solid on both ends of the floor. It feature an offense that ranks 21st in the country and a defense that is among the top 15 in the nation.
