Football team to hold fall practices down the road from Pullman

The Washington State football team plans to hold its fall football practices in Lewiston rather than on its own campus in Pullman when it opens camp Aug. 2.

While an official announcement isn't expected until next week, the Daily News learned of the move this week, with defensive line coach Joe Salave'a confirming the plans Tuesday. While the location of practices and possible hotel arrangements have yet to be finalized, the coaching staff is expected to head to Lewiston today to try and finalize the details, Salave'a said.
