WSU Greeks ban visitors, non-Greeks from Halloween events

The Washington State University Interfraternity and Panhellenic councils announced Wednesday that non-Greek affiliated students and visitors will not be allowed at Greek social events this weekend and through Halloween.

The decision was made public in a press release posted to Facebook by the organizations.

The councils announced they would be distributing wristbands to all the university’s Greek chapters and that guests without wristbands would not be permitted at any Greek social event.

Social events on WSU’s Greek Row were suspended during the spring semester following several incidents involving alcohol, drugs and alleged sexual assaults.
