Washington State University and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland have launched an international double master's degree program designed to prepare students to assume leadership posts in multinational technology corporations.

The program will help to meet the ever-growing need for internationally literate leaders in the technology industry, said Asif Chaudhry, WSU vice president of international programs.

Headed by WSU professor Joseph Iannelli, executive director of engineering and computer science at WSU Tri-Cities, the program will foster trans-Atlantic collaboration between industrial partners of the two universities.

Students will be provided with graduate-level education spanning the technology and business arenas, offering high-demand tracks of study in business engineering, energy and environment, industrial technologies and information and communication technologies, according to a news release.
