Matt Baney, Moscow-Pullman Daily News interim managing editor

Here is a reminder: Our Moscow-Pullman Daily News will start its two-days-a-week printing schedule after today.

There won’t be a print edition of the newspaper Friday. After that, our two print editions each week will be published on Thursdays and Saturdays. We are also now using the U.S. Postal Service to deliver the papers rather than contracted carriers.

All of these regrettable moves have the same purpose: to save money.

Daily headlines, straight to your inboxRead it online first and stay up-to-date, delivered daily at 7 AM

But we are planning to post news, feature, sports and opinion items from the Palouse and the region each day of the week at our website, dnews.com. If you are a print subscriber, you are entitled to a username and password for our website. If you don’t have those credentials, call our office at (208) 746-8742 and we’ll get you set up. And if you aren’t a subscriber and want to become one, you can sign up here: bit.ly/4cWj0ZV.

When we do have our print editions, we’re hoping to pack them with as much interesting content as we can. There will also be a few new features that we hope you’ll enjoy.

Thanks for supporting our newspaper.
