Lioubov Mikhalovna Baugh "Lyuba" passed away Dec. 25, 2018, in Moscow.
Lyuba was born Nov. 29, 1953, in Kolpashevo, Russian Federation, to her mother, Valentina I. Balandin, and Mikhail I. Korsakova.
Lyuba earned a masters degree in Russia and it was subsequently honored in the USA. In Russia, Lyuba had an outstanding career in the city of Tomsk, where she excelled to become the "director" of the Siberian State Medical University Library, where she managed the library's affairs and 90 some employees. Lyuba came to the USA in 2003 (she proudly earned her citizenship in 2010) and went on to become a department manager for Barnes and Noble Bookstore at WSU's Bookie.
Lyuba was an excellent gardener and cook and enjoyed travel and trips to our beautiful northern lakes for camping, boating and, her favorite, swimming. Lyuba had a very positive impact on many friends' and co-workers' lives with her passionately honest and direct personality. Beautiful and rare, intelligent and very kind, Lyuba will be missed by many all around the world.
Lyuba is survived by her husband, Scott Baugh; son, Alexey (Valeriya) Fedorov; grandson, Vlad; daughters-in-law, Lindsay, with great-granddaughter Avery, and Melissa Baugh.
A celebration of Lyuba's life will take place after the holidays.
