Nathan Charles Crandall, 55, of Moscow, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019, from complications of heart disease.
He was born June 14, 1963, in Yakima, Wash., to Nancy Strain (Riemenschneider) and C. E. Crandall, of Watertown, N.Y. His parents later divorced, and Nancy married Clark A. Strain in 1968.
His family moved to Moscow in 1976. Nate attended Moscow schools, but got his GED in Portland, Ore. Nate was an avid camper. He liked fishing with his stepfather, Clark Strain, and friends.
Other passions were snowmobiling and jet skiing. He worked for many years for Norm’s Glass. Nate was a talented jack-of-all-trades.
He is survived by his mother and siblings, Laura, of California; Sharon, of California; Lisa, of Florida; Cindi, of Washington; Terri, of Arizona; Tanya, of Oregon; Donna, of Washington; Ralph, of Washington; as well as his uncle, David (Rose) Riemenschneider, of Yakima, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Clark A. Strain, and his niece, Amanda R. Attardo.
