A Potlatch man who was reported missing Sunday night was found dead by search and rescue personnel Monday morning north of Potlatch. The 61-year-old died from apparent natural causes, according to a press release issued by the Latah County Sheriff's Office on Monday afternoon. ... Audience members listen while "Taps" is played during a Memorial Day ceremony at the Eastside Marketplace in Moscow on Monday. About 100 people attended the ceremony, which was moved from East City Park because of the weather.

Another University of Idaho administrator has resigned saying the UI's lack of support for teachers prompted his resignation. James Kuska, the chairman of the UI landscape architecture department, resigned his post last week. ... Excessive patient restraints, under-qualified staff and accident hazards were among the 16 charges state officials leveled at the Whitman County Convalescent Center following an inspection this month. The results block the Colfax nursing home, the county's largest, from admitting new patients, and the company has until the end of the month to amend the problems or it will lose its certification to accept patients from Medicare and Medicaid programs.
