Open Make — 3:30 p.m. Moscow Public Library, 110 S. Jefferson St., Moscow. Self guided maker activities. Any children younger than 8 must have an adult caregiver present.

Winter Solstice Stroll — 3-4 p.m. Idler’s Rest Nature Preserve, 1187 Idlers Rest Road, Moscow. Free. A guided walk of Idler’s Rest to celebrate the solstice. Hot cocoa and cider provided.
