Christmas Book Flood — 10 a.m. Moscow Public Library, 110 S. Jefferson St., Moscow. Latah County Library is celebrating the Christmas Book Flood, a tradition started in Iceland after World War II. Borrow a new book for some holiday reading.

Trivia — 7-9 p.m. Rico’s Public House, 200 E. Main St., Pullman. Free. Donations benefit local nonprofit organizations.

Tuesday Holiday Market — 4-7 p.m. Latah County Fair & Event Center, 1021 Harold St., Moscow. Baked goods, holiday gifts, artwork, local produce, dinner option.

Wednesday

Open Make — 3:30 p.m. Moscow Public Library, 110 S. Jefferson St., Moscow. Self guided maker activities. Any children younger than 8 must have an adult caregiver present.

Thursday

Winter Solstice Stroll — 3-4 p.m. Idler’s Rest Nature Preserve, 1187 Idlers Rest Road, Moscow. Free. A guided walk of Idler’s Rest to celebrate the solstice. Hot cocoa and cider provided.

American Legion Hangout — 5 p.m. American Legion, 317 S. Howard St., Moscow. Free for veterans, active duty, guard, reserve, ROTC cadets and midshipmen and families.
