Kiwanis Club Breakfast - 7 a.m., Lincoln Middle School, 315 SE Crestview St., Pullman. Enjoy pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, fruit, coffee, milk and juice. Entry is $7 for adults, $3 for children ages 3-12. There will be a live auction and music.

"Arthur Christmas" - 9 a.m., Village Centre Cinemas, 1420 S. Blaine St., Moscow. Free admission. Free popcorn with the donation of two canned food items. Free pictures with Santa.

Winter Fayre - 9 a.m.-2 p.m., 101 E. Palouse River Drive, Moscow. This public market offers a wide variety of handcrafted goods by local artists, makers, bakers and creators.

Winter Market - 10 a.m.-noon, 1912 Center, 412 E. Third St., Moscow. Shop from over 30 different artisan vendors. Mariana's Tamales will be selling lunch.

Appaloosa Museum Holiday Open House - 10 a.m.-noon, Appaloosa Museum and Heritage Center, 2720 Pullman Road., Moscow. Santa and his appaloosa will be passing out treats and children can decorate appaloosa cookies.

Nativities Around the World - noon-8 p.m., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2600 W. A St., Moscow. Hundreds of nativity scenes will be on display, accompanied by Christmas music, children's activities and an opportunity to dress up in nativity costumes for a free holiday photo.

"How Far to Bethlehem" - 12:30-7:30 p.m., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2600 W. A St., Moscow. The 15-minute program follows the New Testament portrayal of Christ's birth and repeats every half hour.

Holiday Concert - 2 p.m., Bryan Hall, WSU campus, Pullman. This WSU School of Music performance will feature the Madrigal singers, treble choir, tenor and bass choir, concert choir and the symphony orchestra. Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 for students and senior citizens, and free for children 12 and younger.

Holiday Fest - 4 p.m., Pine Street Plaza, downtown, Pullman. The Tree Lighting ceremony will be followed by a performance by the Pullman Middle School choir. Santa will visit at 5 p.m.

"A Midwinter Night's Dream" - 7:30 p.m., Hartung Theater, 625 Stadium Drive, Moscow. Enjoy a holiday interpretation of Shakespeare's classic tale about the mystery, magic and transformative power of love.

"Unraveling Motion, Revealing Intention" - 7:30 p.m., Dance Lab 110, Physical Education Building, UI campus, Moscow. This original dance performance, choreographed by four students, complements both the choreographers' as well as the dancers' talents. Tickets are $5.

Prohibition Ends Here - 9 p.m., Etsi Bravo, 215 E. Main St., Pullman. 1920-30s attire is strongly encouraged. There will be a costume contest, dance-offs and live DJs. 21 and over.

SUNDAY 12.2

"Gift of the Magi" - noon, Forge Theater, 404 Sweet Ave., Moscow. The play tells the story of a young couple who cannot afford to buy Christmas gifts for each other on their first Christmas together. Tickets range between $5-15.

Christmas Caroling - 4-5 p.m., Friendship Square, downtown, Moscow. Get into the Holiday spirit by singing Christmas carols. Hosted by Christ Church.

Community Christmas Festival Concert - 7-9 p.m., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2600 W. A St. This is a performance featuring a bell choir, barbershop chorus and other musical groups from the Palouse. Info: communitychristmasfestival@gmail.com.
