Health officials report 22 new cases of COVID-19 this week

The Palouse added 22 cases of COVID-19 to its total this week.

That total includes 12 new infections in Latah County and 10 new cases in Whitman County. No deaths were reported this week, and there hasn’t been a COVID-19 death on the Palouse since mid-October.

Virus deaths were reported in both Nez Perce and Asotin counties this week.

Health officials said the people who died were between the ages of 85 and 100.
