COLTON — Holly Heitstuman won the title of Colton-Uniontown Distinguished Young Women during the event Sunday at Colton School.
First alternate was Clair Moehrle and second alternate was Ella Nollmeyer. Heitstuman will represent Colton-Uniontown at the next state program.
Heitstuman received $1,000 for first place, $250 for interview, $250 for fitness, $250 for talent, $250 for self-expression and also won the the spirit award. Moehrle received $750 as the first alternate and $250 for scholastics. Nollmeyer received $500 as second alternative and $250 for the Be Your Best Self essay. All monetary awards are to be used for education beyond high school.
