The KLEW TV evening newscast from Lewiston will be on hold for at least two weeks, it was announced on air Thursday evening.
The newscast that usually broadcasts from Lewiston was replaced Thursday by the KEPR newscast from Pasco. Anchor Scott Stovall started the broadcast by welcoming viewers from the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley, and the show included a number of stories from the valley.
“Our team here will be bringing you the evening news through June 16,” Stovall said on air. “Then, on June 19, we’ll hand off your evening newscast to a new anchor with a broadcast dedicated to the Lewiston and Clarkston region.”
No other details were announced.
