‘Go, Dog. Go!’ on stage at the UI

The University of Idaho Department of Theatre Arts will have performances of the children’s classic “Go, Dog, Go!” starting at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Hartung Theatre, 625 Stadium Drive, Moscow. Additional showtimes include 6:30 p.m. Feb. 2, Feb. 3, Feb. 9 and Feb. 10 and 2 p.m. Feb. 4 and Feb. 11.

The performance is based on the book by P.D. Eastman and will be directed by Kate Pemberton.Tickets cost $5-$25 for the general public and are free for University of Idaho students. For the preview show on Feb. 1, tickets will cost $10 for general admission. Tickets are available online at uitickets.com or at the door starting one hour before the show.

Renaissance Fair poster contest seeks submissions

The Moscow Renaissance Fair poster contest is now open for submissions. The deadline to submit a poster is March 1 and is open to artists of all ages. Submissions should be in a digital file or freehand print sized to 11 inches by 17 inches. The public judging will take place on March 2 at the Winter Market. Whitman County Humane Society Fur Ball tickets on sale

Tickets for the Whitman County Humane Society Fur Ball are on sale online at whitmanpets.org. Individual tickets cost $100 and include the four-course catered meal and one drink ticket. Tables seat eight and cost $800. The fur ball will start at 5 p.m. Feb. 24 at the SEL Event Center, 1825 Schweitzer Drive, Pullman. The fur ball is a fundraising event for the humane society and provides about 25% of all funds needed to operate the shelter.
