A University of Idaho professor has earned national recognition for his piano teaching career.
Roger McVey, who joined the UI faculty in 2013, was inducted into the Steinway & Sons Music Teacher Hall of Fame during a ceremony last month in Astoria, N.Y.. He was nominated by the Steinway Piano Gallery in Spokane. Sixty-seven teachers from the United States and Canada were inducted.
