A search warrant was initiated on Aaron Aung’s family home in Moscow on Tuesday morning in the case of a missing Palouse toddler.

The Pullman Police Department, Moscow Police Department, Idaho State Police, Latah County Sheriff’s Office and FBI were present when the warrant was served, according to a news release distributed Tuesday by the Pullman Police Department.

The warrant authorized law enforcement to search the residence, vehicles and persons to collect evidence and information related to the disappearance of 21-year-old Aung and his 2-year-old daughter, Seraya Aung Harmon. The house searched was on the 1900 block of F Street.

Seraya was expected to be returned to her mother in Pullman on June 3, but never appeared, according to the news release.

Investigators believe the father and daughter are in Mexico, and may have driven a black 2014 Cadillac XTS with an Idaho license plate 1L5147U, according to the news release.

Aung is wanted on an arrest warrant for first-degree custodial interference. He is described to have black hair and brown eyes, is 5-foot-9 and weighs approximately 135 pounds, according to the news release.

Aung could possibly be traveling with former Pullman resident Nadia Cole, 21, who was reported missing to the Port of Seattle Police Department after failing to board a flight with her family, according to the news release.

The news release didn’t say what was recovered from Aung’s house following the execution of the search warrant.

Those with any information regarding Seraya Aung Harmon’s whereabouts are asked to contact the Pullman Police Department at (509) 334-0802 or the FBI at 1-800-225-5324. Tips can also be emailed to policetips@pullman-wa.gov or tips.fbi.gov.
