ANNIVERSARY ANNOUNCEMENT: Merlyn and Glenna Brusven

Merlyn and Glenna Brusven will be honored from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Lutheran Church, located at 648 W. Ash. St. in Genesee. The occasion is their 50th anniversary.

The couple were married Dec. 23, 1958, in Nashua, Mont. Merlyn was a professor of entomology at the University of Idaho for 33 years. He retired in 1998. Glenna was a stay-at-home mom.

The couple have one son, two daughters and eight grandchildren.

Sunday's celebration will be hosted by Paul and Annette Brusven.
