TROY — Sophia Tibbals was named the 2026 Distinguished Young Woman of Troy on Saturday at the Troy Lions Hall.
Tibbals, the daughter of Charles and Crystal Tibbals, earned nearly $3,000 in scholarship money. Tibbals will compete for Distinguished Young Woman of Idaho.

The other finalists were Gretchen Fiedler, daughter of Fritz and Ashley Fiedler; and Dancia Salerno, daughter of Benedetta Salerno.
Salerno and Fiedler both won hundreds of dollars in scholarships.
