The apparent results in most rural Whitman County races weren’t affected by Monday’s update, other than a couple of propositions.
Farmington’s street maintenance levy of $18,000 is winning with 32 approving votes to 30 rejecting votes. Property owners would pay an extra $298 per $100,000 in assessed home value.
Whitman County has 22,562 registered voters; the voter turnout was around 41%. About 9,433 ballots have been counted as of Monday, with an estimated 565 left to count.
The Whitman County auditor will provide an update at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
