Celebration of Life for Animal Companions — 10 a.m., WSU Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center, 405 SE Spokane St., Pullman. Participants can write the animal companions’ name on a ribbon to be attached to a garland. Social gathering to follow the ceremony.
Open Primaries Info Table — 1-3 p.m. Cafe Artista, 218 S. Main St., Moscow. Volunteers will be collecting signatures and discussing the petition to open primary voting in Idaho.

Boy Scout Tree Pickup — 9 a.m. Pullman. Pullman area scouts will be collecting undecorated holiday trees. All trees should be placed on the curb and donations to the scouts can be tied to the tree or made online at pullmanscouts.square.site.
Palouse Freethinkers — 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Inland Oasis, 730 W. Pullman Road, Moscow. Open meeting on the first Sunday of each month through May 5. For all humanists, skeptics, atheists and freethinkers. Light refreshments provided and food bank donations accepted.
