Arboretum Summer Concert — 7 p.m. University of Idaho Arboretum and Botanical Garden, 1200 W. Palouse River Drive, Moscow. The professor emeritus of ethnography at the University of Idaho and a volunteer chaplain for Gritman Medical Center will read from his latest book, “Carry Forth the Stories,” and sign copies. Tom’s Elton Tribute — 7 p.m. Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre, 508 S. Main St., Moscow. The world’s No. 1 Elton John tribute band is coming to play hits by the star.
