Working family tax credit assistance offered
Representatives from the Washington Department of Revenue will provide information and assistance regarding the working family tax credit from 1-6 p.m. April 10 at the library, 102 S. Main St., Colfax.

Audubon Society program about salmon slated for Thursday
The Palouse Audubon Society will have a program on Chinook salmon at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Arts Workshop of the 1912 Center, 412 E. Third St., Moscow. The presentation will be given by Sam Owens from the University of Idaho. The presentation will cover the life of the salmon and the diversity of migratory behaviors observed.
Moscow Elks Lodge opens grant applications
The Moscow Elks Lodge will open grant applications on April 1. Grant applications are due by May 1. The grants include the freedom grant for veterans and military personnel with housing, transportation services, medical and mental health support; the gratitude grant for crisis support for the disabled community; the beacon grant for youth; and the spotlight grant for hunger relief and food insecurity. The grants can be from $1,000 to $6,000.
