The Moscow Police Department is advising people to be cautious while walking on Paradise Path after receiving reports of an aggressive hawk.
Capt. Dustin Blaker said there have been a couple recent incidents of a hawk swooping down on people using the path. One person, who received scratches on her head from the hawk, told police they believed a nest was nearby.
The path is open, but police urge people to be careful if they are walking near the intersection of Pullman Road and Stadium Drive.
Animal control is looking for the nest to see if there is a way to alleviate the problem, Blaker said.
