Applications are due July 10 for the six-year term on the seven-person board. To be eligible, applicants must be a registered voter, live within Pullman city limits and cannot be a hospital employee, according to a news release. Candidates must send in a letter of interest and a resume or curriculum vitae to Jeff Elbracht, president of the board.

The board will hold a special meeting July 19 to interview candidates and potentially appoint a commissioner, according to the release. The appointee must submit a personal financial affairs statement with the Public Disclosure Commission. The person would be required to participate in the November 2023 general election and must file by August.
