Rebecca Diane Flaa, 48, a resident of Lakota, N. D., died June 27 near Cando, N.D., the result of a homicide. The body has been cremated and a graveside inurnment will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, at the Greenwood Cemetery in Palouse, Wash., with the Pastor Kathy Kramer officiating.
She was born on Nov. 23, 1955, at Moscow, Idaho, the daughter of John and Joanne Anderson Lacy of Orofino, Idaho. Becky spent her early years in Moscow and Spokane, Wash. She attended her elementary school at Colfax, Wash., and high school at Pullman, Wash.
She was a long-haul team driver with her husband Gary Flaa, traveling throughout most of the United States. The couple later divorced.
She loved animals, especially her cats. Becky was a great cook and enjoyed baking for others.
She is survived by her parents, John and Joanne Lacy, of Orofino; four sons, Jami Rudy of Spokane, Wash., Ryan Farr and Stephen Farr, both of Colfax, and Nicholas (Jeanette) Farr, of Burbank, Wash.; two sisters, Chris and her husband, Larry Knight of Spokane, and Pam and her husband, Mike Magers, of St. Maries, Idaho; two nieces, Laci Hanson and Melissa Magers; two grandsons, Tyler Rudy and Braydon Farr; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins in the Potlatch area.
Following the graveside service, family and friends are invited to gather at Ed and Betty Anderson's home at 1170 McBride Road in Potlatch, Idaho.
