Registration is open for the University of Idaho Beef 101 program scheduled July 8-10.
The program is designed to provide beginning ranchers with knowledge and resources to increase success in their operation. Workshops will be limited to 30 participants for a $20 equipment fee. Travel and lodging scholarships are available.
Topics include live animal evaluation, beef harvest demonstration, beef quality assurance training, grazing and natural resource management, animal health, financial management and other issues.
