Ines Marie Gray, of Moscow, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, at Good Samaritan Moscow Village at the age of 99.

Ines was born July 11, 1919, to Clayton and Daisy Chittenden in Meadow Grove, Neb. In 1936, the family moved to Nampa, Idaho. Ines married Harold Gray on Dec. 15, 1940, in Nampa. In 1954, they moved to Deary, where they farmed and worked in the community.

In 1962, they moved to Moscow and later owned and operated the original Moscow Rec-Vee.

Ines spent her life as a housewife, homemaker and working alongside her husband Harold. They spent several winters in Arizona and summers at the cabin on Lake Coeur d'Alene. She was a member of the Grange and Rebekah Lodge. Her hobbies and interests were playing the piano, sewing, crocheting, putting together puzzles and coloring pictures. She also enjoyed spending Tuesdays at the senior meals at the 1912 Building and Saturdays with the senior citizens pinochle group at the fairgrounds.

In 2008, Ines moved to Good Samaritan Village, where she lived independently until her death.
