Judy Dawson

Judy Dawson, of Albion, passed away Tuesday, Jan 23, 2024, at Pullman Regional Hospital. Born Judy Ann Summers, to George “Dick” and Bessie Summers on Jan. 21, 1945, in Meridian, Idaho, she grew up in Blackfoot, Idaho, where she met and married Merle Dawson in August of 1963. They moved to Albion in 1969, where Judy would remain for the rest of her life.

After a divorce in 1980, Judy was hired as a teller by Seafirst Bank, and then Bank of America, where she continued to work until her retirement. Many of the bank’s clients knew her as the “Teddy Bear Lady,” due to her love of stuffed bears, that she would bring to work with her daily. Her other loves were her daughters, Tracy Milano and LeAnn Drury, along with her two grandchildren David and Katie Milano.
