Eric Gearhart, 48, passed away following a motorcycle accident Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018. Eric was born Jan. 21, 1970, in Scottsdale, Ariz. He was raised, and lived his life, in Palouse, Wash. He had an adventurous spirit, a warm smile, quick wit and a great sense of humor. Eric didn't do many things in life he didn't want to, almost nothing in fact, and if he was your friend it was because he wanted to be. He loved his kids, writing and recording music, playing guitar, dirt biking and motorcycling. Throughout his life, he worked hard and was extremely thoughtful and loyal to his friends and family.
Eric is survived by his two lovely daughters, Ashley (Bridger) Waterhouse and Caitlyn Gearhart, who he devoted his life to raising; two very proud parents, Jerry and Lynne Gearhart, of Palouse; his brothers, Chris (Tina Dawdy) Gearhart and Marc (Courtney) Gearhart, both of Snoqualmie, Wash., and Rob (Jennifer) McDonald, of Potlatch, Idaho; his sister, Shari (David) Fernandez, of Boise, Idaho; seven nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, and his beloved dog, Moe. A celebration of Eric's life will be held in Palouse at a later date.
