Sarina Smith of Palouse passed away at home on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023. Sarina was born on Dec. 21, 1982, in Pullman.
She leaves behind her parents, Tucson and Susie Smith, children Quinnly Dan, Relic Dan and Katari Parris along with one sister, Toshia Berend and brother-in-law Jeff Berend, nephews Karl, Porter and Mack Berend and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sarina attended Palouse Schools and graduated from Palouse High School in 2001.
Sarina was a free spirit and grew up playing sports and showing her horses. She loved participating in 4-H, FFA and was Palouse Rodeo Empire Queen in 2001. She enjoyed traveling, chasing the sun and good weather. She spent one spring break in Hawaii and fell in love and soon called Hawaii home for the last couple decades. She will be missed.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Palouse Federated Church, 635 N. Bridge St., Palouse, with the Rev. Corey Laughary officiating.
