The simple message of Kamala Harris’ campaign slogan is lost on Donald Trump and congressional conservatives. Please understand its deeper meaning.

We choose freedom. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito chooses to hang the American flag upside down in his front yard. We choose freedom. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas chooses to accept exotic vacations and perks through bribes from a Republican billionaire. We choose freedom.
JD Vance’s hardline position: No exceptions for abortion including rape and incest, which permits uncles and stepfathers to continue raping their nieces and stepdaughters. We choose freedom. Donald Trump chooses to provoke an insurrection. We choose freedom. The Supreme Court allows bump stocks, giving AR-15s the capability to fire 400-800 rounds per minute. We choose freedom.
Donald Trump chooses to allow police to kill a woman holding a pan of hot water, Sonya Massey, because he was afraid for his life. We choose freedom. Trump chooses to allow Memphis police who killed yet another woman, Breanna Taylor, in her bed. We choose freedom.
The Supreme Court chooses to take away a woman’s right of choice of autonomy over her own body. We choose freedom. Donald Trump, the fascist, implores “Christians to vote. Just this one time. You won’t have to do it anymore.” I choose freedom over fear.
