The Washington State University Wrestling Club recently earned the Collegiate Cup championship at the National Collegiate Wrestling Association National Championships March 14-16 in Shreveport, La. The women's team placed third out of 35 teams while the men placed sixth out of 86 teams. The Collegiate Cup title is awarded to the team with the best combined finish for both teams. Freshman Genesis Vazquez earned WSU's first national championship, topping the women's field at 116 pounds.
