More than 70 people gathered to run, volunteer, and cheer on participants of the Moscow Parks and Recreation Childhood Cancer Awareness 5K this fall. The event was a benefit for Alex's Lemonade Stand, whose mission is to provide money to cure childhood cancer. Members of the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department and Latah Sheriff's Department sent off the runners in style, alongside childhood cancer warrior Ivy Risner. This 5K is also held in honor of Thomas Harner, who died from leukemia shortly after his second birthday. Photo submitted by Cat Harner.
