The Rev. Mike Bass because Pullman Community Congregational United Church of Christ’s minister on Friday. He will preach for the first time on June 30 at 10:30 a.m. The service will be followed by a Pride Celebration at the church. All are welcome to attend and meet Bass.

Bass comes to Pullman UCC from First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fort Worth, Texas, where he served as the pastor of church administration for more than three years. He holds a Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and was ordained into the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 2021. He has participated and served in a number of faith traditions but found a particular calling to the United Church of Christ with its focus on covenant, hospitality and justice work.
