WALLACE, Idaho -- A 40-year-old woman from Pinehurst, Idaho, died in a single-vehicle wreck Tuesday night on Interstate 90 here, according to an Idaho State Police news release.

The woman was driving a 2002 Ford F-150 eastbound on the interstate. The pickup crashed at about 11:35 p.m. Tuesday between the interchange 62 off-ramp and on-ramp. The driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the ISP news release sent early Wednesday morning.

The interchange 62 on-ramp and westbound interchange 62 off-ramp were blocked for about four hours following the crash while emergency responders did their work. Traffic on the interstate was not obstructed.

The woman's next of kin has been notified of her death. Her name wasn't included in the ISP news release.
