Seegmiller named new WWAMI director at UI

Jeff Seegmiller is the University of Idaho’s new Director of the WWAMI Medical Education Program, according to a news release today from the UI.

The WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho) Medical Education Program is the regional medical education program for the University of Washington School of Medicine in Idaho. Started in 1972, it is currently in its 41st year of educating Idaho's physicians.

Seegmiller is an associate professor at UI in the department of movement sciences. Seegmiller came to UI in 2007. He has chaired musculoskeletal anatomy for the WWAMI program.

Seegmiller will begin as the WWAMI director on Aug. 1.
