Law enforcement searching for potentially vulnerable 14-year-old Potlatch boy

William Weller was found late morning Saturday, according to an Idaho State Police update.

The Latah County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 14-year-old Potlatch boy who left his home Friday afternoon.

William Weller was last seen on foot on the 1100 block of East Rock Creek Road in Potlatch around 3 p.m. Friday, according to a Twitter post by the Idaho State Police distributed late Friday night.

Weller has autism and asthma, and wasn't carrying his inhaler. Law enforcement believes he could be headed to Lewiston, according to the Twitter post.

He was observed wearing a maroon short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and Under Armor tennis shoes.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the Latah County Sheriff’s Office at (208) 882-2216 extension 4.
