A concert on Washington State University’s Greek Row in Pullman generated at least 18 noise complaints Saturday night.
Pullman Police Department Cmndr. Chris Tennant said police received multiple calls about noise toward the end of the concert performed by the artist “SLUSHII” at the Sigma Chi fraternity.
The concert was allowed a noise variance permit by the police department, but the large number of complaints prompted the police to ask the promoter to turn down the music.
The promoter refused and was issued a ticket.
There were no 29 total noise complaints reported over the weekend.
