MOSCOW — Morgan Apt was named the winner of the Distinguished Young Women of Moscow Class of 2025 on Saturday.
Apt was awarded $2,800 as the winner, plus $500 for state prep. She received $300 for the Challenge Awards, $500 for the Fitness Award, $500 for the Talent Award, $500 for the Scholastic Award, $500 for the Interview award and $500 for the Self Expression Award.
Meghan Howard was awarded $1,600 as the first alternate. She received $300 for the Challenge Awards, $500 for the Fitness Award, $500 for the Self Expression Award and $500 for the Scholastic Award.
Ellie Vineyard was awarded $1,000 as the second alternate. She received $300 for the Challenge Awards, $500 for the Scholastic Award and $500 for the Interview Award.
Anna Yates received $300 for the Challenge Awards, $500 for the Emmie Law Spirit of DYW Award and $500 for the Talent Award.
Ariella Reagan received $300 for the Challenge Awards and $500 for the Interview Award.
Samantha Pfiffner, Makayla Johnson, Lillian Stubblefield, TK Stellmon all received $150 for the Challenge Awards.
The highest scoring participant who attends the University of Idaho will receive one free year of schooling.
Kacie Clyde and Peyton Sumner received the Alumnae Scholarships.
This year’s theme was “Mission: Possible.” The program was held at Moscow High School.
