It’s obvious an infectious corruption is sweeping our nation’s capital, but how is it spreading?
“Patient zero” is the term for a person introducing an infectious epidemic. President Donald Trump is patient zero for the capital’s corruption outbreak. The epidemic started when Trump brought forward infected aides Mike Flynn, Paul Manafort, George Papadopoulos, Rick Gates and Michael Cohen. All were infected so thoroughly they required prison quarantine.
Trump also infected Reince Priebus, Jeff Sessions, Rex Tillerson, Herbert McMaster, John Kelly, Nikki Haley and Jim Mattis, but they managed to exit the capital before their integrity was completely destroyed.
Cabinet members Tom Price, Ryan Zinke, Scott Pruitt, and David Shulkin were not as fortunate. Their integrity was ruined.
Other Trump appointees, like Kellyanne Conway, Sarah Sanders and Stephen Miller, serve as infectious carriers like Typhoid Mary. They continue to function while contaminating others.
Attorney General William Barr and Deputy Attorney Rod Rosenstein are the most recent casualties. Barr obfuscated Mueller’s Russian collusion report so thoroughly it will take years to expose the truth, while Rosenstein just stood by waiting for retirement.
Unfortunately, there’s no vaccination for this disease. Wholesale quarantine is needed.
